"Out On The Edge," is a one-hour stand-up special to be televised on Comedy Central, hosted by Tony Award-winner Alan Cumming ("Cabaret.") The special features the stand-up of headliners Elvira Kurt, Rene Hicks and Jim David. Special guest Buddy Cole, from "Kids In The Hall," has a big surprise for the audience! "Out On The Edge" also features the music of BETTY, The Hazzards performing their international hit "Gay Boyfriend," Bayne Gibby and Johnny McGovern as The Gay Pimp sending up teen pop with the dance extravaganza "Soccer Practice." "Out on the Edge," premiers Monday February 2 at 10 pm, and repeats Monday, February 2 at 12:00 a.m., Friday, February 6 at 11:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 7 at 2:30 a.m.

Martini Blues in Huntington Beach, CA is having a Gay and Lesbian Comedy Night on Friday, January 23, 2004 at 8 PM. It's hosted by Jason Dudey, with feature Vicki Wagner and headliner Jennie McNulty. Ticket price: $7 per ticket online, $10 at the door, with a $10 food/drink minimum. There is a website with more information.

LA's The Gay Mafia announces their new improv/sketch comedy show - The Gay Mafia: Not The Marrying Kind. Opens Saturday February 7 at Club 66 in Hollywood. Check their website for details.

There will be a screening in Los Angeles of the new documentary by Shann Carr called "Out for Laughs on the Ocean". Among the comedians in the film are Shann Carr, Mark Davis, Russ King (aka Ms. Richfield 1981), Bruce McDonald, Steve Moore and Wayne Moore. It's Tuesday Jan 20th, doors open at seven pm, show starts at seven thirty. Tickets are $20. It's at The Renberg Theater at the LA Gay and Lesbian Community Center , 1125 McCadden Place, LA CA.
